“Skala Potamia” is the port of Potamia village. The greenery and the amazing blue of the sea make it one of the most beautiful destinations of the island and a tourist hot spot during summer. Its small port offers shelter to the local fishing boats with the building of Tarsanas looking magnificent next to it.
The building was used in the past as a fishing shelter for the monks of Mount Athos (Agion Oros) but nowadays it accommodates the island’s folklore museum and it hosts various cultural events.
